Hello, I’m Robert (Robbie) Goodrum. I am an Osteopath, naturopath and certified sports therapist registered in the UK. I have 20 years experience including 9 years experience teaching Manipulative therapy to Osteopaths,Physiotherapists,medical doctors, neturopaths and chiropractors.
I run a Post Graduate seminar school called ‘English Osteopathic School’ and I’ve taught in the UK, North and South America, Europe, Australia, Japan, Turkey, Ireland, the philippines and many other Asia countries. We teach several manipulative therapy Programs, which include the best modified techniques from Osteopathy, Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. We give you the hands on tools to treat muscular skeletal problems straight away.
I have 20 years professional experience in clinical practice and teaching. I have studied Chiropractic Diversified technique, Chiropractic History and Philosophy, Chiropractic Examination, Chiropractic Palpation, Chiropractic Leg Testing, Chiropractic Extremity Adjustments, Chiropractic Radiology and Radiography in the Palmer West College of Chiropractic in the USA. I have studied MRI & CT Diagnosis at San Francisco Teaching Hospital with medical radiologists. I now teach my own style of “Short Chiropractic Lever Techniques” and “Goodrum Specific Adjusting Methods” blended with osteopathic and physiotherapy rehabilitation.
Bruce Lee picked the best techniques in Martial Arts from many styles and then blended them together to form his own method. Similarly, I assessed and picked the best from Osteopathy, Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. I then developed a unique and proven way of assessing and treating the body, which is holistic, individualized and better for the patient. No one therapy has all the answers and no one treatment or manipulation suits every body! We teach you to select the right technique and treatment for each condition and patient for perfect outcomes. My course programs are 90% practical and hands-on,providing you with some lovely techniques that will fit into your everyday practice.
I have taught at Everton and Sunderland football clubs in the UK and I also have taught Physiotherapists from Liverpool,Manchester United,Middlesbrough and Newcastle clubs. I live in the UK,Thailand and Japan, and my clinics are based in the UK.
My Seminars will help you understand the differences in styles of manipulation between short lever Modified Chiropractic Manipulation and Osteopathic long lever Manipulation. They will also help you understand the history and philosophy of these professions. Robbie has worked in the UK for 13 years as a clinician in his own clinic in Essex. Robbie’s interests are spinal problems, sport injuries and health and wellness. He is Director and Principal of English Osteopathic School.
